Mechanical Maintenance Technician

 

Job description :

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be a member of the Mechanical Maintenance Team of the Blade Industrialization Department, responsible for Blade Machines production & Quality assurance equipment maintenance and construction. You will also be involved in machinery improvements implementation.

 

Main Responsibilities/Tasks:

 

  • Undertake the construction of new projects assigned by your supervisor or project manager.
  • Responsible for the execution of corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance of the blade equipment.
  • Diagnose breakdown problems for all production equipment.
  • Inform Machine Construction Supervisor for drawings shortages and design omissions and/or errors.
  • Propose improvements for machine operation and performance.
  • Participate or build instructions related to machinery construction procedures, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to the process of the new technologies’ induction in your area of responsibility.
  • Take part in various experiments concerning R&D projects, Industrialization, and Improvement Projects.
  • Responsible for the good condition and adequacy of the tools that you use.
  • Responsible for the adequacy of stored spare parts, suggesting corrective actions.

 

Qualifications

 

Required:

  • Technological Educational Institute (TEI) Degree or Technical High School or Secondary Technical School in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Certified with minimum license of Maintenance Technician according to the Legal Requirements.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar position in industrial field.
  • Adequate knowledge of English language (both written and verbal).
  • Advanced PC literacy (especially MS Office).
  • Basic Knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Robotic systems & TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance).
  • Willing to work in shifts.
  • Able to travel to other facilities to perform equipment troubleshooting, organizing, and supervising production equipment upgrade/installation.

 

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in machine assembly, installation and commissioning.
  • Knowledge of engineering Design ie. 2D (Autocad) & 3D Software (PTC Creo).
  • Machining Tool Basic Skills and First Level Automation Knowledge.
